Our Story
Ritter Avenue Free Methodist Church was founded in May of 1954. We have had several pastors over the last 70 years, but most recently Pastor Steven Bales was appointed as the Senior Pastor in June of 2023. Pastor Steven as well as the members of this church are continuing to find ways to grow a community of devout Christians who love God, love people, and make disciples.
Expanding the vision...
Ritter Church has many events and groups to welcome and support the community. We have a Back to School Bash, Vacation Bible School, Annual Thanksgiving Dinner and more. We hope to encourage the surrounding community to come and learn more about God and how we can show God's love by serving the community. Ritter Church would love to grow our church family with you!
