From the Pastor’s Desk
Dear Ritter Church Family,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
As we embrace the warmth of August, I am reminded of the beauty and vibrancy of this summer season. It is a time when nature is in full bloom, and we are called to reflect on the growth that is happening in our own lives and within our church community.
Just as the earth goes through cycles of renewal, so do we as individuals and as a church. It is a time for us to recharge our spirits, deepen our faith, and prepare ourselves for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
I encourage each of you to take some time this month for personal reflection and prayer. Seek God’s guidance in your life, and ask Him to renew your spirit and strengthen your resolve. Let us also remember to support one another in our spiritual journeys. Our community thrives when we lift each other up and share in each other's joys and struggles.
We are also looking forward to some exciting events and initiatives in the coming months. Our Church Cook-out at Pando Aspen Grove Apartments, which is just a few blocks east of the church, is scheduled on August 17th from 11-1pm.I am eager to see how God will use our collective efforts to make a difference in our community. Additionally, our Ladies Bible study group will be resuming their sessions on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month and I encourage you to get involved and grow in your understanding of God's Word. Get in touch with Karen Young for more information.
Let us continue to be a beacon of hope and love in our community, reflecting the light of Christ in all that we do. May this August be a time of spiritual rejuvenation and preparation for the blessings and opportunities that God has in store for us.
Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to our church. Your commitment makes a significant impact, and I am grateful for each one of you.
In Christ’s love and peace,
Pastor Steven

Prayer  Focus- There is power in prayer. "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective"  James 5:16

"Prayer stills us, brings  us peace, helps us come to terms with what is. Prayer  changes the person praying from the inside out. But prayer also releases power. Prayer releases power to affect real change in the tangible world."  from book Praying Like Monks, Living Like Fools by Tyler Staton
