From the Pastor’s Desk:

Dear Ritter Church Family;

As we step into the month of February, I’m reminded of God’s great love for us—love that is unconditional, unwavering, and eternal. This month, as we celebrate Valentine’s Day and reflect on the theme of love, it’s a perfect opportunity for us to pause and remember the depth of God’s love, which is the foundation of our faith and our life together as a church.

In 1 John 4:19, we read, “We love because he first loved us.” This love is not just something to admire from a distance; it’s something to live out every day. It calls us to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. This isn’t always easy, but it’s the heart of the Gospel and the call of every believer.

This month, I encourage you to consider how you can intentionally live out God’s love in your daily life. Whether it’s through a simple act of kindness, a word of encouragement, or a moment of prayer for someone in need, let’s commit to showing Christ’s love in both big and small ways.

Additionally, if you need prayer, support, or simply someone to talk to, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I will do my best to be available to meet with you, pray with you, or just listen. We are a family, and we walk through every season of life together.

I’m so thankful for each of you, and I’m praying that this month you will experience the depth of God’s love in new and meaningful ways. May His love fill your heart, your home, and your relationships, and may we continue to grow in faith and fellowship together.

In Christ’s love,

Pastor Steven Bales
