From the Pastor’s Desk
Dear Ritter Church Family,
As we step into the month of September, I want to take a moment to reflect on the turning of the season and the opportunities it brings for our spiritual journey. Summer is slowly fading, and the vibrant colors of autumn are beginning to emerge. This transition offers a wonderful chance to realign our hearts and minds with the rhythms of God’s creation.
September is often a time of new beginnings. Schools are back in session, and many of us return from summer vacations with renewed energy and a sense of purpose. This is also a perfect moment for us to recommit ourselves to our spiritual practices and community life.
In the coming weeks, we will embark on a series of sermons focused on “Discipleship”. Our goal is to explore how we can more deeply integrate our faith into our daily routines, relationships, decisions and to live our lives like Jesus. I encourage you to engage with these messages and to reflect on how God is calling you to live out your faith in new and meaningful ways.
Our church’s ministries are also gearing up for an exciting season of service and outreach. I would like to invite you to our Prayer Breakfast on September 21st from 9-Noon. We will be spending time praying & having breakfast. Your involvement is crucial in making a positive impact in our community and beyond.
September our denomination is also having a focus on prayer. I highly encourage you to visit this link.
This website will provide you all the information about prayer, the option to sign up for daily emails, and daily videos as well. I hope you will participate in this event.
Let us also be mindful of those among us who may be in need of special support during this time. If you or someone you know could use a listening ear or practical assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. Our pastoral care team is here to provide support and encouragement.
As we move through this month, I invite you to join us in prayer and reflection. Let us seek God’s guidance and strength as we navigate this season together. May we be a community that encourages and uplifts one another, shining the light of Christ in all that we do.
Thank you for your continued dedication and love for our church family. I am grateful for each of you and look forward to all that God has in store for us this fall.
In Christ’s love and peace,
