From the Pastor's desk:
Dear Church Family,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As we enter the heart of summer, I pray this season brings you moments of rest, joy, and reflection. July is often a month filled with celebration — fireworks, family gatherings, cookouts, and long sunny days. It’s a time when we pause to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation and the blessings of our freedom.
But amid the warmth and activity, let us not forget the deeper freedom we have in Christ. Galatians 5:1 reminds us, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” In a world that is often filled with stress, division, and uncertainty, Jesus offers us true peace, real purpose, and lasting hope.
This month, I encourage you to make space for what matters most. Spend time in prayer, dive into God’s Word, and don’t let your faith take a vacation just because your schedule changes. Stay connected — to God and your church family. Whether you're traveling, resting at home, or joining us for worship each week, you are a vital part of our community.
Let’s also remember those who need a helping hand this summer. Reach out to someone who may feel isolated. Invite a neighbor to church. Volunteer at one of our events. Small acts of kindness can be powerful reflections of God’s love.
I also want to remind you that Superintendent Jen Finley will be delivering the message on July 6th. Please come support and meet our Superintendent.
I am grateful for each of you and the ways you reflect Christ in our church and beyond. May this month be filled with meaningful moments and a renewed sense of God’s presence in your life.
In Christ’s love,
Pastor Steven
